We are hiring! The IDA Initiative at Neighborhood Partnerships is looking for a Fiscal Manager. This is an exciting opportunity for folks committed to the power of numbers to do good in this world. The person will need experience in fiscal management, capable of tracking and accounting for the inflow and outflow of significant, layered balances of state funds, and be comfortable communicating about budgets and fiscal systems, and able to talk and translate “accounting speak” across stakeholders with varying levels of expertise.
Neighborhood Partnerships’ (NP) mission is to create a better Oregon in which everyone has access to opportunity, stability, and what we need to thrive. For us, this begins with financial well-being and a stable, affordable place to call home. The IDA Initiative is a statewide matched savings program that promotes overall financial stability and resilience of low-income households and supports participants toward building wealth. Participants save toward one of a range of asset goals, from saving for a vehicle, pursuing higher education, starting or building a small business or buying a first home, to name a few. Each dollar of participant savings is paired with $5 in match.
