Housing is the foundation of Oregon’s success. We need safe, decent and affordable housing options near employment, near schools, near our families and friends. It’s time to move housing to the top of our policy agenda and to hold our public systems accountable for meeting housing needs. If you agree and want to be a key figure in shaping the future of housing opportunity in Oregon – join us!

You will oversee policy research and manage the development of the Housing Alliance’s policy priorities in collaboration with coalition members, partner organizations, allies, and others interested in state housing policy. You will work with the Housing Alliance and colleagues to set and implement the overall advocacy strategy. You will provide detailed analysis of legislative issues affecting housing opportunity and issues that affect Oregonians with low incomes. And you will serve as one of the primary points of contact with legislative and government personnel and agencies.

The Oregon Housing Alliance has a track record of excellence. In 11 years, we’ve secured more than 50 major policy and budget victories for people in need of housing opportunity. Together, you, Neighborhood Partnerships and the members of the Housing Alliance will make exciting and meaningful change a reality.

Neighborhood Partnerships offers a competitive salary, excellent benefits including pension and health coverage. The position is open until filled. Application reviews to begin August 6th. We are an Equal Opportunity Employer.
