Help us build Oregon’s financial future with great ideas, solid research, and collaboration!

Do you have an idea for growing financial opportunity in Oregon? We’re looking for great ideas for increasing access to financial tools, for improving programs, and for new ways to interact with program participants and support participants improved financial practices using technology or behavioral change. This could be a new way to motivate savings, a way to streamline your approach, a strategy to integrate financial education into another effort, a design that helps you respond to community needs.

We’re looking for new ideas, ideas you’ve started to implement, and ideas that are ready to grow. Do you want help thinking through how to test your idea, or evaluate its impact? Do you want to increase the size and scale of your pilot? Are you eager for a chance to share your idea with a broader audience?

We want to hear from you!

We have a $2,500 prize to offer, as well as a chance to share your work with possible collaborators and get recognition for your creativity.

Sound good? Fill out this form, and our review team of NP staff and key volunteers will be in touch to find out more about your concept. We’ll be reviewing ideas for:

  • Potential impact on Oregonians’ financial opportunity,
  • The possibility of impact across Oregon, and
  • The possibility of integrating the idea into work that is already happening here in Oregon.

We need to hear from you by September 15th!

If your idea is selected, we will work with you to present the idea at the Neighborhood Partnerships RE:Conference in October, either during a workshop or one of the panels. After the RE:Conference, you’ll get support from NP to recruit collaborators, fine tune, and design a test for your concept. And one of you will win a $2,500 cash prize!
